FOUR CENTURIES OF FINE CABINETMAKING
Our auctions focus on fine cabinetmaking and frequently include pieces by renowned names such as Gillows of Lancaster, Thomas Chippendale, John Cobb and John Trotter. Recent highlights include a George II alabaster and mahogany side table in the manner of William Kent which sold for £103,250; a fine Irish George II mahogany side table which sold for £223,250; a George III mahogany commode attributed to John Cobb which sold for £48,050, a George III gilt armchair attributed to Thomas Chippendale which sold for £31,875, and a fine Regency rosewood, satinwood and walnut parcel gilt serving table which sold for £125,100.
