Vellum, collates: iv + 149 fols, 156 x 115 mm, wooden boards covered in velvet, clasps missing
Probably written in the province of South Holland, containing a full Calendar (with St Jeroen in red on 17 August), Hours of the BVM, Hours of the Cross, Hours of Eternal Wisdom, Office of the Dead, Hours of the Holy Spirit, prayers (including some to be used at Mass) and the Penitential Psalms (end of the Penitential Psalms is missing, as is the Litany), the opening page of each of the six main elements contains a historiated initial and borders inhabited by lively figures, facing five of these are miniatures painted on separate leaves and inserted, other sections of the MS are marked by partial bar and foliage borders

Note: There may originally have been a sixth miniature at the beginning of the Penitential Psalms. The subjects of the miniatures include the boy Jesus with the elders in the Temple and the Raising of Lazarus.
