A Volume of Music, Original, Selected, and Traditional, comprising Pastorals, Marches, Strathspeys and Reels, Hornpipes, Laments, Songs, Etc., for Voice, Violin, Bagpipe, Pianoforte, Etc. Edited with an Introduction on the Strathspey by Gavin Greig. London: Bayley & Ferguson, c.1903. First edition, inscribed by the author with a lengthy message to ‘Mrs C. Stewart Hunter and the Dr’ on the front free endpaper (the inscription dated Carnoustie, 1915), folio (35 x 26cm), 182 pp., original quarter vellum, backstrip lettered and decorated in gilt, tartan-pattern silk sides stamped in gilt, all edges gilt, a little fraying to silk;
