the bell top with gilt brass pine cone finials and découpage scraps, above an arched brass dial signed WILLM/ CREAK/ LONDON to the arch above the Roman numeral chapter, with a subsidiary STRIKE/SILENT dial, date and mock pendulum apertures, in a red lacquered and parcel-gilt case, fitted with mask corner mounts and twin brass handles, the engraved backplate enclosing the triple fusée eight-day movement with bell strike, and chiming on eight further bells, with a paper label to the interior CAMERER, CUSS & CO.
