Approximately 16 unresearched firmans and letters, mainly dating from the early 19th century, to include letters, in Persian, from General Ochterlony and General Lord Lake; a copy of Sanad by Sir John Malcolm counter signed by the British Resident at Gwalior, A. Seton; several of the documents in the form of long scrolls and all bear Persian inked seal impressions, the large one of the Emperor and often several smaller ones; accompanied by a typed list giving brief descriptions of 16 items, this receipted and signed and dated 10.1.25 by the British Resident at Gwalior
