the body finely enamelled to depict children celebrating the Spring Festival gathered in animated groups, some performing a dragon dance on a bridge, others carrying flags and lanterns, playing with animal puppets, riding hobby-horses, lighting fire-crackers, and playing musical instruments, the footring decorated with keyfret border and lappets, the shoulder and rim with ruyi border, the neck with lotus flowerheads and auspicious symbols amongst scrolling leaves, iron red seal mark to the base on a turquoise ground
