Note: Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna of Russia was the daughter of Emperor Alexander II of Russia married Alfred, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 1874. Alfred was the fourth child of Queen Victoria and was titled Duke of Edinburgh from 1866, until he became the reigning Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 1893.
