Large 8vo, contemporary red morocco with Baskerville floral gilt border, bound by binders working for Baskerville, spine gilt and neatly rebacked, Baskerville's own colour-wash marbled endpapers, some very minor dampstaining towards the rear of the work, occasional light foxing, covers very slightly rubbed, bookplate of Geoffrey Lord Cross of Chelsea [Gaskell 12, without borders; ESTC T81395]
