There’s always something new (or rather, old) that captures my attention or has a fascinating story to tell.&nbsp;Our May Five Centuries offering is no different and delivers on all fronts. It’s full of a diverse variety of furniture, paintings, works of art, and objets to tempt buyers and collectors alike. &nbsp;With nearly 600 lots on offer, we kick things off with Act Two: Property from The Eccentric Trading Company, lots 1-67, a wide-ranging group of pieces from the London theatrical props house, The Eccentric Trading Company, a continuation of our fantastic single-owner auction last year, The Secret Life of Props.&nbsp;That’s followed by a compelling group of paintings that were on long-term loan to the National Trust for Scotland and displayed from 1973 until recently at The Georgian House in Edinburgh, sold on behalf of The F T Wayne Pictures Settlement Trust. These combined with our usual assortment of pieces sourced from across the UK and spanning the past five hundred years, guarantees not to disappoint.
