Ahead of The Art of Welcoming : Contemporary Craft of the Future on 08 September, all works can be viewed as part of a special exhibition presented at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair in collaboration with Mayfair Design District and QEST.
Installed throughout the hotel, the exhibition explores hospitality through contemporary craft, bringing together works by twelve QEST-supported artists whose practices span ceramics, glass, wood, metalwork, stained glass, sculpture and paper. The exhibition forms part of The Living Square, Mandarin Oriental Mayfair's ongoing cultural programme celebrating craft, design and creative exchange in the heart of Mayfair.
Visitors are invited to experience the works in situ before bidding in Lyon & Turnbull's charity auction, with all proceeds supporting QEST's work funding education, training and career development for Britain's next generation of makers.
