According to the document, the passport was issued on the 9th day, 1st lunar month of the Guangxu 27th year, equivalent to 1901. Lord Elphinstone (愛爾費思登) arrived at Tarbagatai on the 29th day, 5th lunar month of the same year the passport was issued, and left on the same year, 3rd day, 6th lunar month.
