Gordon (1867-1914, nephew of General Gordon) to his mother and others, c. 1875-1913, written as a schoolboy and officer; Gordon, General CharlesAutograph letter signed to his mother assuring her of his health, thanking her for presents & stating that there is little news: "We are doing nothing here & I hope you will not believe all the atrocious fibs told in the papers", 4pp., Sebastopol, 2nd Feb. 1855, frayed & torn; 7 later printed copies of letters, not in Gordon's hand, to Gordon's mother; two A.L.S. from the Marquis of Huntley to Sir Henry Gordon about a memorial for General Gordon; Coloured map on linen of the territory ceded to Turkey in accordance with the Treaty of Paris, 1856; and some correspondence, mostly twentieth-century, relating to Sir Henry Gordon (quantity)
