Footnote
One of a limited edition run of 275, the 1918 model released in 2018 celebrates the centenary of the Royal Air Force. Three Battle of Britain aircraft which flew during the summer of 1940 are incorporated into the rotor of the watch: a Bristol Blenheim, a Supermarine Spitfire and a Hawker Hurricane. The AM/PM disc also incorporates two classic British war planes; the Avro Lancaster flying at night, and the Supermarine Spitfire flying during the day. According to our research this is the first example of this model to appear at auction.
