Footnote
The final watch in a limited edition run of 75, this model was created by Bremont to celebrate Britain’s contribution to astronomy, navigation and timekeeping. This watch incorporates brass used in the Flamsteed Meridian Line located at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, named after John Flamsteed, the first royal astronomer appointed by King Charles II. Flamsteed was tasked with mapping the night sky and in doing so aided major discoveries in maritime navigation and timekeeping. The red line running from 12 to 6 is a nod to the Meridian line, and the red power reserve indicator echoes the red ball on top of the Royal Observatory.
