all oval, watercolour on ivory, the first sitter with dark hair wearing a bicorn hat and blue jacket, 4.2cm high; the second sitter with dark hair wearing a light blue jacket with red collar and buff waistcoat, 4.2cm high; the third sitter with dark hair wearing a red frock coat and white cravat, initials ‘ND’, 3.4cm; all in oval moulded ebonised frames; and the last sitter with greyed hair, wearing a dark jacket and white stock, in a yellow metal locket, 3.1cm high (4)
