Provenance
Helen - mis-spelt “Hellen” here - was Helen Kennedy North. Helen and her artist husband, Stanley, were friends of Nicholson. Stanley Kennedy North wrote the first monograph on William Nicholson. From the collection of Helen and Stanley Kennedy North, and thence by descent.
