After studying architecture at the University of Dundee, Jamie moved directly into the auction world, first working in the Rare Books department before branching out into general valuations.
His role has seen him travel extensively throughout the country, working through collections, insurance valuations and uncovering goods for sale. Jamie has worked with Lyon & Turnbull for over seven years now, and whilst he works in all genres of art and antiques he has a focus on British and European fine furniture. He is a contributor to the BBC's Antiques Roadshow alongside colleagues Charlotte Riordan, Katherine Wright and Theo Burrell.
