This edition of Five Centuries features Act Two: Property from The Eccentric Trading Company (lots 1–67), a continuation of last year’s The Secret Life of Props auction, featuring a wide-ranging group of pieces from the London theatrical props house.
The sale also presents a compelling group of paintings formerly on long-term loan to the National Trust for Scotland and displayed at The Georgian House, Edinburgh, sold on behalf of The F T Wayne Pictures Settlement Trust. These are complemented by further carefully sourced works from across the UK, offering collectors a richly varied and characterful selection.
