Modern British Art from The Hugo Burge Foundation Collection
We are delighted to present an exhibition of Modern British Art from the Hugo Burge Foundation Collection at our London location on Connaught Street, on view from 05 - 20 February 2026.
This free exhibition brings together a distinguished group of works from the private collection of the late entrepreneur, collector and philanthropist Hugo Burge (1972–2023), presented in partnership with the Hugo Burge Foundation.
Spanning painting, sculpture and drawing, the exhibition features internationally acclaimed figures such as Lynn Chadwick, Barbara Hepworth, Bernard Meadows, Henry Moore and William Turnbull, alongside other leading British artists of the twentieth century. Among the highlights on display are Lynn Chadwick’s Winged Figure II Maquette and William Turnbull’s monumental painting 5-1963, reflecting the breadth of Hugo’s passionate engagement with modern art.
Hugo Burge was not only a discerning collector but also a passionate supporter of creativity and community. The Hugo Burge Foundation continues his legacy by championing the arts, crafts and creative industries across the United Kingdom and making works from his remarkable collection accessible to the public for the first time.
