Note: The Borghese Warrior, or Gladiator is first recorded in 1611 when it was being restored after its discovery at Nettuno near Anzio and was aquired by Cardinal Scipio Borghese. In 1807 it was bought by Napoleon, brother inlaw of Prince Camillo Broghese and by 1811 the Musee Napoleon and subsquently in the Louvre.
