A Fabergé silver-gilt and enamel-mounted gem set hardstone dish

Description
the oval agate dish on flared foot cast and chased with fluting, the applied silver-gilt handle in the form of a stylized anthemion set with a Catherine II gold rouble of 1776, the portrait of which is embellished with translucent red enamel over engraving, the terminal set with two diamonds flanking a cabochon sapphire, marked K.Faberge beneath Imperial warrant, the foot marked with initials K.F.
