by Dougal Ged, Edinburgh 1737-1738, Assay Master Archibald Ure, the body of slightly baluster form, engraved with a crest and motto of an eagle displayed within a garter with unicorn above, flanked by initials WR, with simple S scroll handle and plain chamfered thumb piece, raised on a stepped foot
