Known to be from a larger, now split, set, this fork is an unusual combination of traditional Fiddle pattern and the earlier fashion for three prongs.
The engraved crest has been attributed to Donald Williamson, who was factor to the local Balnagown Estate, and who in 1834 married into the local Ross of Pitclanie family.
