1) Letter, dated 2nd December 1927, signed Willie Robertson on West Lancashire Golf Club headed paper, thanking a manufacturer of golf clubs in St Andrews (more than likely Tom Stewart Company) for sending "the very excellent heads", Robertson writes: You knew of course that I wanted them for the Japanese Imperial Household, & it struck me as being remarkable, that although the game is in its infancy in Japan, they should be able to differentiate between Pipe brand and other makes.; 2) Letter, dated Friday 17th ?, signed J Morton Dykes Jr on Royal Porthcawl Golf Club headed paper, to Mr Stewart, writing: I am sending you on Sam McKinlay's putter, which I have been using during the International matches. I would like you to make two copies of it...; 3) Letter, typed, dated 20th September 1927, signed Francis Ouimet and addressed to Mr. Tom Stewart Jr., writing: One of the very best known independent steel companies in this country is very anxious to go into the manufacture of iron heads and have long looked upon your company as the only first-class cleek makers in the game...
