Description
Om Urte Uand. Malmo: [Johann Hoochstraten], 1534. First edition, 4to (185 x 125mm.), woodcut initials, modern calf, a few early manuscript notes, lacking 4 leaves (A1 & 4, +1 and final leaf, blank but for device on verso), 4 initials on X1, X3, Z1 & Z3 cut out and repaired in facsimile, last leaf cropped in top margin with loss of headline (repaired), several inner margins strengthened, some soiling and light staining

Note: Pedersen's second book, in many ways a continuation of the first, describes the use of some fifty Danish herbs either wild or cultivated. It ends with a catalogue of "distilled waters". Of the fourteen copies listed by Nielsen, five are defective.
