Description
A volume of eccentric letters written under the pseudonym Andrew Kerr to Thomas Stewart, bookseller of Glasgow, comprising bizarre tales and details of imaginary travels to Philadelphia, where he was crowned 'Winiphseaket Cacique of Pigwakikohafetgananonion' and met Benjamin Franklin and the Islands of the four winds 'where people have each a large soft corn about the size of an ordinary Dunlop Cheese upon the left foot', referring in one letter to his being removed to a Mad-house, later half calf, letters rather soiled, 4to, [c.1799]
