Footnote
Released at Baselworld in 2012, the Sky-Dweller was the first new innovation in complications released by Rolex for over 20 years and considered the most complicated movement made by the famous Swiss manufacturer. The 12 outer apertures on the dial allow for a red indicator to be displayed showing the relevant month, combined with the date, this allows the wearer to use the watch as an annual calendar, only requiring adjustment each leap-year. The central rotating 24 hour scale displays ‘home time’ with date and hands being set to local time when travelling.
