Footnote
The inner case is stamped with Key number 1 for famed Geneva casemaker Wenger, with the movement securing ring stamped with the last three digits of the case number (347) to avoid switching during servicing. This level of high quality, especially seen in the movement calibre V453, is typical of Vacheron & Constantin of the era. The movement balance also uses an early form of Superchoc shock protection.
