Description
Frosted gilt three-quarter plate keyless winding movement with raised barrel, cut and compensated bimetallic balance with blued steel overcoil hairspring, white enamel dial with fancy numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, hinged case with outer dark blued enamelled chapter ring, hand-setting button to the band. Dial signed Mappin, movement signed Mappin & Webb, London and numbered, case numbered with London 18k gold hallmarks and stamped by maker FT, London (Federick Thoms), bow stamped 18k and C.H.
Accompanied by a fitted Mappin & Webb Ltd presentation case.
