This aquamarine was cut from a large specimine discovered in the Cairngorm Mountains, likely Ben MacDui, in 1995, by Mr Gordon Sutherland. It was reputedly first known aquamarine to be found in Scotland for over 200 years, it was later facetted by Ian Combe.
