of rectangular form, the silver repoussé decoration forming repeat vegetal and geometric motifs, enclosing a band of lobed cartouches and medallions with inscriptions in gold on a blue ground, as well as a few bust portraits around the border, the upper part with a mihrab enclosing further inscriptions, flanked by boteh-shaped cartouches comprising portraits

The inscriptions include: around the border, verses from a ghazal of Hafiz and an Arabic prayer; in the arched cartouche, Arabic prayers: “[Whomsoever] looks good in the mirror, let him say: ”In the Name of the Merciful, the Compassionate! My God, just as you made my exterior beautiful, make my morals beautiful."
