the faint turquoise velvet ground embroidered in relief with silver thread, the decoration comprising symmetrical rococo-style floral and pomegranate stems issuing from a vase from the tip of the toe

Judging from small parts of the velvet, these would have originally been a vibrant and turquoise colour reflecting a rather bold fashion amongst the Ottoman elite.
