watercolour on paper, including the first wearing a black frock coat with fur collar and cuffs, a black waistcoat, with a harbour scene to the background, signed and dated to the obverse in pencil ‘Rochard Pxit/ 17th July 1838'; together with a second wearing a double-breasted grey frock coat with black collar over brown waistcoat and white shirt with high tied stock and trousers, holding a top hat in his left hand, signed and dated on the obverse in pencil 'Rochard Pxit/ 281 Regent Street/ July 1838, each in an octagonal mount, under glass in a gilded wood frame (2)
