the silvered breakarch dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, the centre signed ‘Geo. Wood, London’ with a date aperture below, the arch with a 'Strike/Silent' dial, the bell top case surmounted with brass swing handle, the door with two silk backed pierced brass sound frets, the sides with glazed breakarch panels and a glazed rear door, raised on brass bracket feet, the twin chain fusee movement with verge escapement and striking on a bell, the backplate with foliate engraving and integral bob pendulum
