to include a pair by T.C. Salt, Birmingham, with Apollo masks supported by winged caryatids, on leaf-cast rectangular plinths, impressed mark PUB. BY. TC. SALT APL 18. 1828; one in the form of a Gothic arched window with quatrefoil tracery and cruciform finial, containing a thermometer and brass gauge plate,10cm wide, 22.5cm high; another with a Gothic lancet window flanked by niches containing saints, with a later silvered metal gauge plate, the tube lacking, 12.5cm wide, 20cm high; and the last in the form of a Gothic rood screen with three double-arched windows, side niches, and an arcaded frieze, on a plinth base, 20.5cm wide, 17cm high (5)
