all watercolour on ivory, to include a lady with blue eyes wearing a white lace cap and chemise with a high ruffed lace collar, in a later gutta percha cased frame, 6.5cm x 5.6cm; a gentleman with grey hair wearing a white stock, yellow waistcoat and blue coat, in a brass frame, 6.3cm x 5.2cm; a young gentleman with light hair and blue eyes, wearing a white stock and vest with red lining, and a blue coat, in an ebonised frame, with a paper trade label to the reverse for FINLAY/ CARVER & GILDER/ GLASGOW, 6.2cm x 5cm; a French portrait of a lady with dark hair arranged with strands of pearls, wearing a high collar chemise and blue shawl, in an ebonised and brass bead mounted frame, 6cm x 5cm; and a young gentleman with dark hair, wearing a white stock, yellow waistcoat, and blue coat, holding a yellow handkerchief in his left hand, in a later gutta percha case, 7.4cm x 5.8cm (5)
