Description
the first circular example painted with a young woman by an urn and plinth embellished with seed pearls and mother-of-pearl, beneath a banner ‘AFFECTION WEEPS THO HEAVEN REJOICES’, the reverse with a hair knot and gilt initials AB; the second a small oval pendant containing an oval plaque inscribed ‘LA MORT ME RENDRA A LUI ET EN LE REVOYANT JE SEROIS HEUREUX’ in a gilt filigree mount against a hair knot; and the last a small circular profile portrait miniature of a young man, the reverse with a hair knot, seed pearls, and initials, in a gilt pendant case (3)
