Description
the largest in a mahogany case with a fitted wooden interior containing powder paints in glass containers with cork stoppers, ceramic mixing bowls in a fitted holder, glass pestle and mortar, a glass bottle of Essence de Lavande, and brushes, the cover with a brass swing handle and hooks, 28.5cm wide; and a two tier rosewood veneered box, the fitted interior containing block paints, a ceramic paint dish, brushes etc, the interior of the lid bearing a burgundy leather stamped maker's label marked 'NEWMAN'S MANUFACTORY', with a key, 23.5cm wide
