Nana and Jorgen Ditzel began working and exhibiting together in 1944. Nana originally trained in cabinet making meanwhile Jorgen trained as an upholsterer. They began to create designs for Georg Jensen in 1954 and shared an aesthetic based on creating comfortable, wearable and simple items.
