Description
with marks for Edinburgh 1867, maker probably J Crichton, a full-head example with two lidded compartments to the head, each set with foil backed cairngorms and embossed thistle design, with gilt interior, the larger compartment for snuff, the smaller with spaces for cigars, with matching mounts and cairngorm set thistles to the tips of horns, all on three ceramic castors and with snuff spoon and pricker attached by chain
