Footnote
Note: It is believed that Elizabeth Green was baptised in 1792, and was the niece of Robert Green, a clockmaker in Edinburgh who married Christian Deuchar, the only daughter of David Deuchar who owned Morningside estate in Edinburgh. He was the man who discovered, taught and introduced people to the painter Henry Raeburn. It is thought that Mary Green was Elizabeth's sister.
