the plain rounded locks signed GRIERSON with engraved sighted barrel tangs, mounted with swamped two stage barrels engraved on the top flat with double line and tear-drop decoration with London proof marks and makers marks IT for John Twigg c.1750, engraved trigger guards with pineapple finials half walnut stocks with chequered butts, plain silver oval escutcheons and barrel bolt escutcheons horn tipped fore-ends, plain steel ramrod pipes and original brass tipped ramrods
