the twin train five pillar fusee movement, striking the hour on a steel bell, the arched dial with silvered chapter ring having Roman numerals and subsiduary date aperture, with strike/silent and seconds dial to the arch, the back plate profusely engraved with flowering foliage, the whole within rectangular case with caddy top and brass carrying handle, above glazed doors to the front and rear raised above a moulded plinth on bracket feet
