with marks for Edinburgh 1830, maker William Cunningham, the circular bowl with decorative floral border against a stippled ground with central initialled cartouche, the bowl inset to the centre with a gilt coin inscribed Georgius II, with similarly cast mounts to the wrythen whalebone handle
