David Lightly has 30 years’ experience creating sculptural furniture and developed The Wood Neuk from his earlier work with Tim Stead Furniture, later known as The Workshop of Tim Stead. He worked under the guidance of the late sculptor and artist Tim Stead, whose approach influenced his practice. Following Stead’s death, The Wood Neuk became licensed to continue producing his established furniture designs. The workshop also develops new designs, continuing the tradition of sculptural furniture associated with Stead while maintaining a connection to his original work.
