Geology; Botany; Zoology. London: printed by order of the Trustees of the British Museum [-Trustees of the British Museum (Natural History], 1915-64. An extensive run, 58 original numbers (of 63, lacking Zoology Vol. I Nos. I and III-IV, and Vol. VI No. II, and Geology Vol. I. No. I), large 4to, original printed wrappers, numerous plates (lithographs, collotypes and halftones), with the title-pages for the Geology and Botany volumes in loose leaves or bifolia, together with a duplicate of each number of the Botany volume [Rosove 292.A2]

One of 500 sets, complete sets being described by Rosove as ‘very scarce’; there were also 25 sets printed on special paper and in red wrappers. ‘The scientific reports from Scott’s Terra Nova expedition of 1910-13 were published periodically over a span of fifty years in what may be considered two broad collections, this one by the Trustees of the British Museum, and the other … by the Committee of the Scott Antarctic Fund. Most of the British Museum Parts appeared from 1914 to 1924, with a few appearing from 1927 to 1935, followed by a long hiatus until the second Geology volume of three parts was published from 1954 to 1964. The zoology reports were issued by design in multiple concurrent volumes'. [Rosove]
