First edition, large folio (54 x 36.5cm), 20th-century buckram portfolio, tinted lithographic vignette title-page, 2 pp. lithographic text, 20 loose tinted lithographic views on 13 plates, engraved map, tissue-guards, title-page with dampstaining around margins, a little spotting on other leaves, portfolio worn and slightly torn at head and tail of spine;
Annan, Thomas. University of Glasgow Old and New Published under the Sanction of the Senate of the University. Glasgow: T. & R. Annan & Sons, 1891. One of 50 deluxe copies on large paper (in addition to 350 standard copies), large folio (44.5 x 30.7cm), original green quarter morocco lettered and decorated in gilt, bevelled boards, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, 77 photogravures (including 35 views of the Old and New Colleges, most printed two to a single sheet, and 42 portrait plates), all on india paper, mounted, tissue-guards, binding rubbed, contents leaf unevenly toned from laid-in newspaper cutting;
