A very rare photographic survey of the male and female members of the Mughal dynasty, no copies traced in institutional libraries. The author also published a similar photographic account of the rulers of the Ghurid and Delhi Sultanate eras, titled Tawarikh-i Ghuri and with the text in Urdu. He describes himself on the title-page to the present work as the ‘son of late Rai Juggan Lal, Assistant Private Secretary in the British Government Agency, Delhi, and a Grandson of Rai Sona Mull, Risaldar in the Nizam’s States, Hyderabad, Deccan'.
