Description
Comprising 3 full-page collotype facsimiles (sheet sizes 38.5 x 29.4cm, plates 21.5 x 27cm), 2 coloured, one uncoloured on india paper ('There were not found Women fair as the Daughters of Job'), mounted, all marked proof; 9 smaller facsimiles with image only (i.e. excluding text) from ‘… Daughters of Job’ (sheet 17 x 19cm, images 9.5 x 12.5cm), all with sections excised from the image (possibly as a guide for preparing the metal stencils, q. v.), 2 with French annotations in red ink, together with an apparently related sheet with central rectangle cut out, blank other than ‘Bas’ annotation (i.e. ‘below’);
together with 10 thin metal sheets with sections cut out in patterns similar to those in the facsimiles (various dimensions), tarnished, with remnants of tape and coloured inks (a folder)
