A collection of c. 130 instruments of sasine and legal documents in manuscript, relating to property and land ownership in various locations in Scotland, various sizes, mostly on vellum, folded, but with some on paper folded and rolled, the 2 earliest items dated 1490, c. 7 items from the 16th century, mostly from the 18th and 19th century, the latest 1903, the 15th, 16th and 17th-century documents mainly refer to land ownership in Perthshire (Easter Essendy, Wester Essendy, Drumlochy, Cloquhat, Ashintully (Spalding family)), also including a small group of documents relating to the Lockharts of Carnwath, written in Scots, English and Latin (130)
